Version 1.0.1 Update
NeuraQuarium » Devlog
There have been some sneaky stealth updates since launch, but this will be the first numbered patch. Refresh your download and overwrite to get the latest (your saved data will not be affected.)
- New options slider - Maximum Fruit allows you to place a ceiling on the number of fruits in the level. If you set it to 0, there will be no limit (like before, so your old saves should be unaffected.)
- As a result of the above change, all fruits now have a limited lifespan -- otherwise, eventually all fruits would end up concentrated in impossible to reach places and every ecosystem would collapse.
- Tweaks to energy costs for aggressive behavior ("biting")
- Removed an unintended "hidden" mutation that affected metabolic rates in simulations left running a long time.
- Various other minor tweaks
